Alpais Local Room Monitoring provides an optional on-site display for users who
need direct visibility of battery-system status inside or near the battery room.
The local panel complements remote monitoring through
Alpais Battery Monitoring Software
and does not replace the main Control Module, monitoring architecture or central
communication connection.
What This Solution Covers
- Optional local display for on-site battery-system visibility
- Battery, string, alarm and system-status display according to the configured interface
- Wall-mounted Control Module panel option
- Panel configurations for one or two Control Modules
- Pre-assembled panel option for simplified site installation
- Integration with the standard Alpais remote monitoring architecture
Local Battery Monitoring in the Battery Room
Alpais normally provides battery monitoring through the Control Module and
web-based software interface. Where operators also require on-site visibility,
an optional local display can be added to the project architecture.
The local interface allows authorized personnel to review the available battery,
string and alarm information without relying only on a remote control room or
external workstation.
The exact screens, displayed parameters and user functions depend on the selected
panel, Control Module configuration and project requirements.
Control Module Panel Option
The Alpais Control Module can be installed directly on a suitable surface or
housed inside a wall-mounted panel. The panel helps organize the Control Module,
power connections, communication wiring and related installation components.
Panel configurations can be prepared for one or two Control Modules, subject to
the required equipment, internal layout, cable entries and project-specific
engineering.
Optional Display for On-Site Status Visibility
The optional local display provides access to system-status information at the
installation site. It can be positioned according to the battery-room layout,
operator access requirements and environmental conditions.
Depending on the selected configuration, the display may present active alarms,
system condition, battery values, string information and other data available
through the Alpais interface.
Local and Remote Monitoring Work Together
Local room monitoring is an additional operator interface. The Control Module
continues to collect and manage data from the
BATMOD and STRMOD architecture
,
while remote access, historical records, reports and notifications remain
available through Alpais Software.
This arrangement allows site personnel to review system status locally while
maintenance teams, facility operators or remote support personnel continue to
supervise the same installation through the networked monitoring environment.
Panel Engineering and Installation Considerations
The final panel design should consider the number of Control Modules, display
type, power supply, cable entries, communication interfaces, wall-mounting
location, ventilation, service access and applicable environmental conditions.
Where the battery room is classified as a hazardous area, a standard local panel
should not be assumed suitable. The enclosure, display, cable glands and complete
installation must be evaluated separately under the
hazardous-area battery monitoring
project requirements.
