Alpais introduces a hydrogen gas sensor integration at the battery environment level for battery rooms and enclosures.
The hydrogen gas sensor monitors hydrogen accumulation and provides status-based alarm monitoring through the Alpais BMS interface.
What this solution covers
- Hydrogen gas sensor integration into Alpais BMS
- Monitoring for battery rooms and enclosures
- Status-based alarm monitoring
- Direct connection to the Alpais Control Module
- Email notification for registered users
Hydrogen Gas Detection
The hydrogen gas sensor monitors hydrogen accumulation in battery rooms and enclosures. This provides early warning of abnormal gassing conditions and supports general safety requirements for stationary battery applications.
Application at the Site
- Typically, 1 sensor per system or battery room
- Connected directly to the Alpais Control Module
- IP65 protection case for the sensor
Monitoring and Alarm Notification
The sensor provides status-based alarm monitoring. When an increase in hydrogen gas concentration is detected, the system triggers an alarm via the Alpais Interface.
Registered email addresses are notified in the same manner as other Alpais alarm conditions.
